Sean Allen | 19 | Roscommon

Sean is a first-year science student fascinated by how the human body works and is developing a non-invasive white blood cell monitor. With a background in agriculture, he analysed over 30,000 data points on soil and crop yield to explore sustainable fertiliser solutions. This work earned multiple BT Young Scientist and SciFest awards, and an invitation to speak at the Dáil. He's also an accomplished goalkeeper, having won the 2024 Connacht final with the Roscommon U20 team.
